Quote reblogged from WELCOME to my WORLD with 29,760 notes

Develop a healthy relationship with food. If you’re hungry, eat. If you’re full, don’t eat. Eat vegetables to be good to your body, but eat ice cream to be good to your soul.

Take pictures of yourself frequently. Chronicle your life. Selfies are completely underrated. Even if the pictures are unflattering, keep them anyway. There will always be mountains and cities and buildings, but you will never look the same way as you did in that one moment in time.

Your worth does not depend on how desirable someone finds you. Spend less time in front of the mirror and more time with people who make you feel beautiful.

Close doors. Don’t hold onto things that no longer brings you happiness and do not help you grow as a person. It is okay to walk away from toxic relationships. You are not weak for letting go.

Forgive yourself. We all have something in our pasts that we are ashamed of, but they only weigh us down if we allow them to. Make amends with the old you and work every day to become the person that you’ve always wanted to be.

Breakfast time:

Egg BLT is easy enough.
Put some lettuce on a plate

Cook 2-3 pieces of uncured organic bacon. Drain and put on lettuce.

Scrabble 2-3 eggs and add cherry tomatoes and place on top of bacon.
I added some Dijon mustard but this

would have been good with paleo mayo.

The drink was something new I tried:
1/2 cup of green tea, chilled
1/2 cup of almond milk (unsweetened plain)
1 tsp honey
1 tbsp cinnamon
1/2 a banana

I put it in the bullet and voila it was a tasty drink to go with breakfast!

Ok back at it! This was a delicious recipe from Sarah Fragoso’s “Everyday Paleo”

"Rockin Moroccan Chicken"
4 tbsp coconut oil
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite size pieces
1 small head if broccoli, chopped into bite-size pieces
2 small carrots, diced
1 tbsp cinnamon
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon dried ground ginger
Small pinch of cayenne pepper
Sea salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
1/2 cup pimento-stuffed green olives, sliced
1/4 cup raisins (I used craisins)
1/4 cup chicken broth

What to do:
Heat coconut oil in large skillet over medium heat.

Sauté the chicken until no longer pink in the middle, remove he chicken from the pan and set aside.

To the same pan, add the broccoli and carrots. Stir-fry until the broccoli and carrots start to become tender.

Add the chicken back to the pan with broccoli and carrots, and then add the cinnamon, ginger, cumin, cayenne, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Once the chicken and veggies are covered with the spices, add the sliced olives, raisins, and the chicken broth to create a sauce. Stir well and bring to a simmer. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring often. Serve immediately.

Just got back from the Bahamas and made some plantains for the first time ever! But so easy:

2 plantains
2 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp shredded coconut
1 tbsp cinnamon

Heat the coconut oil, fry the plantains. While frying add one tbsp of shredded coconut. After 2-3 minutes, flip plantains and and add the other half of the coconut and cook for 2-3 minutes all on medium heat. Remove and sprinkle with cinnamon
